Residential Property Portfolio Manager
Seeking 1 FTE experienced Residential Property Portfolio Manager, for nonprofit affordable housing organization. Responsible for the overall operations of assigned properties, ensuring project performance based on established goals and benchmarks. Directly supervises site managers in assigned portfolio. The Portfolio Manager conducts regular trainings for Community Managers on property management topics and software updates and for Building Monitors to ensure consistency in practices, policies and procedures. In addition, a Portfolio Manager may be responsible for acting as the System Administrator for various department software programs and may provide training to other department personnel. Ensures that Community Managers operate within REACH and Property Management Department policies and procedures and within state and federal regulations governing affordable housing. 40 hours a week, exempt position. Salary range (annual): $46,000 – $71,000. Benefits first of the month following hire. Exempt position.
Specific Job Skills:
Knowledge of property management, including applicable Oregon and/or Washington landlord/tenant and fair housing rules and regulations. Knowledge of and experience meeting HUD and LIHTC requirements for affordable housing. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, Outlook. A good working knowledge of property management software program(s). Ability to lead and work as a team member as needed. Good verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to work effectively with all types of people. Basic math, attention to detail and organizational skills. Bi-lingual a plus.
Education and/or experience:
High school education or equivalent. Five years of experience in property management, and two to three years portfolio level experience required. Or any equivalent combination of education and experience.

AmeriCorps VISTA Position
REACH Community Development is a locally‐based nonprofit with 30 years of experience providing affordable housing and community programs. Our mission is to provide quality affordable housing and opportunities for individuals, families, and communities to thrive. We are seeking an AmeriCorps Vista Position to assist us in building our organizational capacity in “greening” our operations. This a 40 hour per week position from August 2012 through August 2013.
This position is an exciting opportunity to be a part of the NeighborWorks national program with a goal of advancing environmental responsibility and sustainability throughout the community development industry — in the operations of organizations, for the homes that are built and managed, and for the residents and communities that are served. The VISTA will be one of many AmeriCorps VISTA members working around the country to build organizational capacity in “greening” our operations. REACH’s VISTA will assist us in coordinating our efforts and ensuring that our green practices are documented and sustainably implemented throughout the organization.
