Residents of REACH in Clark County have been very busy! Approximately 30 people graduated from skill building workshops in less than two months.

Community Leadership Institute

This past October, REACH sent two Resident Services Coordinators and 5 REACH residents to Cincinnati, Ohio for a Community Leadership Institute, put on by NeighborWorks® America. There they had the chance to take courses in community leadership, ranging in topics from “Going Green” to “Celebrating Diversity” to “Community Gardening”. How Much $ Are Americans Saving?

NeighborWorks AmericaAccorded to a survey released by NeighborWorks America, not much. According to NeighborWorks America:

“Roughly a third of American adults don’t have any emergency savings, meaning that over 72 million people have no cushion to fall back on if they lose a job or have to deal with another crisis.”

Energy Savings + REACH = Landmark Development

Orchards at OrencoREACH’s new development, Orchards at Orenco Station continues to get buzz regarding its innovative design in affordable housing.
