Critical Repairs Address Gentrification for N/NE Homes

CBP DayREACH’s Community Builders Program has begun work to provide critical home repairs to help 12 longtime homeowners retain their homes and remain in their communities, thanks to a $110,000 grant award from the Portland Housing Bureau. Bringing a Portland Home from Blight to Right

Lease Crutcher LewisWe teamed up with Lease Crutcher Lewis to completely transform a Portland home. Due to a disability this resident has been unable to keep-up maintenance on his yard and foliage was engulfing his home. With a yard nuisance fine looming, we worked with Lease Crutcher Lewis to bring out 18 incredible volunteers to not only avoid fines, but also made a big impact on his home and larger neighborhood. 

With the help of volunteers, this space went from blight to right!
