Paint & Repair-a-thon
It’s almost here! This August, REACH will celebrate the 24th Annual REACH Paint & Repair-a-thon, our signature home repair event! For 24 years, thousands of volunteers have made repairs on hundreds of homes throughout the Portland metropolitan region, providing a helping hand to our senior and disabled neighbors in need.
The Paint & Repair-a-thon will take place on Saturday, August 3, 2013 from 8:00 – 2:30pm. You and your employees will join hundreds of volunteers for a fun, “hands on” day of community service, performing activities such as carpentry, painting, electrical, plumbing and yard clean up. It’s a fabulous day, filled with hands-on opportunities to make a real difference in your community. You just need to show up ready to wield a hammer, paintbrush or other tool. We’ll kick the day off in Mt. Scott Park (SE 72nd Ave. and Harold, picnic area’s C and E) with a short program. Then we send our volunteers on their way to their projects throughout Portland.
We can only do this with the support of our community. REACH raises all cash and materials through our local business partners. To support the event, we need cash, in-kind labor and donated materials. Participation is not only fun for your company, but a wonderful opportunity to give back to our community while receiving great publicity. REACH coordinates everything. Just be prepared to show up, have fun, and make a difference!

Sponsorship Information
There are several levels which you can support our work at, anywhere from $5,000 - $1,000 and in-kind donations of materials and labor. Cash raised is used to directly support costs of the event. Please note: the number of company volunteer spaces is based on sponsorship levels.

For those donating in-kind labor: If you’d like to participate in the Paint & Repair-a-thon but can’t do so on August 3rd, REACH would be happy to arrange a project that fits your schedule in support of this event. Please note this in the “comments” section of your sponsorship form; a REACH staff member will be happy to contact you.
