Something is broken in my apartment. How do I get it fixed?
Follow these instructions on how to fill out a maintenance request form.

How long can I expect to wait when a work order is submitted?

When a Maintenance Request has been submitted, it takes approximately three to five days for the request to be completed.  Emergencies are dealt with immediately.

What is PTE?
PTE is Permission to Enter.  This is requested whenever there is a Maintenance Request and will allow the Maintenance Tech access to the apartment to complete the request.  If you choose not to allow entry and would rather schedule an appointment you are welcome to do so.  Please keep in mind, the appointment must be during office hours.

What if I have an emergency outside of office hours?
If the emergency is something involving fire, medical or illegal activity, call 911 first.  Then, call the emergency number posted at your building.  In Portland, call 503.972.8277. Outside of Portland (i.e. Washington), please call 888.967.5351. This service will page the person on-call to handle emergencies and they will call you back for details.  The On-Call Maintenance Tech will respond to maintenance emergencies such as flooding, lock problems, etc.

How to File a Maintenance Request for Your Apartment

1.  Contact the building manager and report needed repairs for your apartment.
2.  Click here for a complete listing of REACH Community Managers.  Go personally to the Building Manager’s office.
3.  If she/he is unavailable, there will be a wall pocket containing blank Maintenance Requests hanging outside the office.
4.  Fill out the Maintenance Request Form in its entirety and place it in the drop box for the Building Manager’s office.  You may also complete the form and deliver it the Manager’s Office, where it will be assigned.
