LMC Construction
Our good friends at LMC Construction keep surprising us with their generosity. Chris Duffin, LMC’s founder and president, has been a true champion of REACH. We’ve partnered with LMC since 2009 on a range of projects. They have completed substantial rehabilitation of the Walnut Park Apartments, along with the free installation of garden beds (with help from the project architects). They’ve sent volunteer crews and donated cash and materials at the Paint & Repair-a-thon for the last several years. LMC has also sponsored REACH’s particpation in the Willamette Week’s GIVEGUIDE.
Recently, LMC was selected by REACH to perform the renovation work at the Maples I and II apartment buildings. Both buildings are located in Hillsboro and provide housing for low-income senior and disabled citizens. Under REACH’s control, the properties will retain their rent subsidies for decades to come. We expect work to be completed in spring 2012. We are pleased to report that Chris and the LMC team made a generous leadership gift pledging $20,000 to REACH over five years. This gift will make substantial inroads to help REACH provide important support programs for our residents.
