Want to learn more about how REACH is building community?  You’re invited to a free, one-hour informational get together called “Life Within REACH”  hosted by REACH! You’ll learn about the need for affordable housing in our community and how REACH is working to provide high-quality, safe and stable homes for families and individuals. We’ve limited each session to 10 people so you can meet and talk with REACH leadership, get to know other community members who care about housing, and take a tour of a REACH property.  We’ll also show vacant apartments as they’re available.  Keep in mind this is not a fundraising event - you will not be asked to make a contribution to REACH.  It’s an opportunity to learn more about us. 

We can also set up a personalized tour for your group of up to 10 people.  Please feel free to bring a guest!  Allow 55 minutes for the tour, EXCEPT at Gray’s Landing; plan on 75 minutes. Thank you for joining us!


In 2012, tours will take place at one of REACH’s properties, including Station Place Tower or Walnut Park Apartments.  We are also offering special “hard hat” tours at Gray’s Landing (pictured right) through November 2012 while the building is under construction. 

Tours at Gray’s Landing are on a construction site.  Please adhere to the following:

  • Dress appropriately - closed toed shoes, long pants, and weather appropriate.  Hard hats and reflective vests provided.
  • Guests will be asked to sign a “Hold Harmless Agreement” from Walsh Construction. Tours will start at the Walsh construction trailer, located on the corner of SW Lowell and SW Bond streets. The trailer is located in a gravel parking lot, and is signed with “Walsh Construction.”
  • Park on the streets around the site, NOT in the construction trailer parking lot.  If coming from downtown Portland, the Portland Streetcar stops on the Lowell street stop at our building site.
  • We will be climbing stairs, generally up to the 6th floor.  Please let us know at the tour if you will be unable or unwilling to do so.
  • The location is a construction site.  As such, accessibility will not be available until October 2012.  If applicable, please register for any tour beginning on 10/11/12 or later.

PLEASE NOTE: Tours are intended to provide information and education about REACH’s history and programs.  They are not intended for people interested in renting REACH housing.  For those interested in renting REACH housing, please check our Properties website for availability and application process.  At Gray’s Landing, we anticipate model units available for show in late summer/early fall 2012 to prospective tenants.  In the meantime, we are keeping an interest list.  You may sign up on our for by emailing .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address), Property Management Assistant or calling (503) 231-0682.
