Experience
REACH is one of the Portland Metro region’s largest affordable housing developers and operators. REACH’s mission is to create opportunities for all people to thrive by developing and promoting quality, affordable homes, supportive services, and community.
Founded in 1982 by a group of neighbors in response to deteriorating housing conditions in SE Portland, REACH now stewards over 2,800 affordable apartment homes across the Portland metropolitan region and SW Washington. Our focus includes affordable housing development and management, and support services that increase the economic stability of our residents.
Skilled Leadership and Expertise
REACH employs an experienced leadership and middle-management team with expertise in affordable housing finance and development, portfolio underwriting, asset management, property management, compliance, and services. REACH is one of the few non-profit housing developers in Oregon and SW Washington that has built and maintained its own internal staffing capacity for property management, asset management, housing development, and resident services.
Accessible to All
REACH is committed to affirmatively furthering fair housing for all persons regardless of age, race, color, national origin or ancestry, citizenship, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, physical or mental disability, medial condition, genetic information, familial status, or any other basis protected by state, federal, or local law.
