Free Repairs You Can Trust
REACH’s Community Builders Program provides free home repairs, serving elderly and disabled low-income homeowners that reside in the City of Portland. Our technicians are licensed, bonded and insured. Repairs are completed by REACH staff, subcontractors, and skilled volunteers. We also make referrals to other resources.
- Home Maintenance
We assist homeowners in maintaining their home by providing preventative and routine maintenance.
- Safety & Accessibility Upgrades
We help homeowners age in place by providing safety & accessibility repairs/modifications to their homes.
- Citations & Violations
We help homeowners address Portland Development Services (BDS) citations. Community Builders clients can skip the waitlist and we can bring in additional resources like volunteers and donors to support homeowners.
- Free AC Units
We are working with Portland Clean Energy Community Benefits Fund (PCEF) to connect Portland homeowners with efficient portable heat pump/cooling units.
To receive a cooling unit, a recipient must live in the City of Portland, and have an income that is 50% or less of the Area Median Income, adjusted for household size. Click here to apply for an A/C unit.
