$120,000 Awarded by KeyBank to Support Career Mapping at REACH
We are thrilled to share some exciting news with you! REACH Community Development has been awarded a generous $120,000 grant from KeyBank to bolster our transformative “Career Mapping” workshops. These workshops play a pivotal role in uplifting individuals who find themselves unemployed or under-employed.
What are the “Career Mapping” workshops all about? These workshops equip participants with essential tools and opportunities, empowering them to gain employment that offers not only a living wage but also stable hours and crucial health benefits. We believe that meaningful work is a pathway to stability and well-being, and these workshops are designed to pave that path.
As part of our strategic commitment to community empowerment, we are thrilled to announce that the workshops will be offered at two of our properties: one in North Portland and the other in Southeast Portland. Our ultimate objective is to cultivate a skilled workforce within REACH’s vibrant communities. By providing residents with access to stable housing, we empower them to exit survival mode and embrace the opportunity to thrive.
