REACH Secures $100,000 Grant for Stability Initiative
We were awarded a $100,000 grant from the Oregon Community Foundation to give REACH access to Esusu, a tool to empower renters to build credit and financial security. This significant funding will bolster our efforts to invest in a pilot program in partnership with Hacienda and Northwest Housing Alternatives, aimed at building stability and preventing evictions.
About Esusu
Esusu’s mission is to dismantle barriers to housing for families and address the racial wealth gap, aligning seamlessly with REACH’s commitment to equity. By leveraging data, Esusu helps individuals achieve financial security, emphasizing the importance of a strong credit score for financial stability and generational wealth building.
We are excited about the potential positive impact this program will have on our community and look forward to sharing updates on its progress. Stay tuned for more information as we continue to work towards creating a more equitable and financially secure future for all our residents.
Thank you to the Oregon Community Foundation for believing in this work!
