REACH Welcomes Sean Edwards to our Board of Directors


REACH Community Development is honored to announce the appointment of Sean Edwards, a distinguished Partner at Village Family Capital (“VFC”), to our Board of Directors. As an expert in fostering growth among consumer brands in the Pacific Northwest, Sean brings a wealth of strategic insight and a strong commitment to community development to the REACH team.

As an expert in fostering growth among consumer brands in the Pacific Northwest, Sean brings a wealth of strategic insight and a strong commitment to community development to the REACH team.

With a career spanning nearly two decades in commercial banking, including senior roles at Bank of America and Bank of the West, Sean’s expertise in financial services, relationship building, and investment strategies will significantly contribute to REACH’s mission of providing affordable housing and empowering residents. His education in Business Finance and Macro Economics from Oregon State University will bolster the organization’s financial and economic planning efforts.

Sean’s dedication to community service is evident through his extensive involvement in local organizations. His prior board leadership roles with the United Way of the Columbia-Willamette, Financial Beginnings Oregon, YWCA of Greater Portland, Junior Achievement of Oregon and SW Washington, and CODA, Inc., showcase his passion for social improvement and economic empowerment. Sean is currently a mentor / coach volunteer with Xxcelerate, a member of the OSU Finance Advisory Council with the OSU College of Business, and on the Finance and Investment Committee with the United Way of the Columbia-Willamette.
