SE Bike Fair at 72Foster

What began as one resident’s desire to share her bike repair talents with neighbors inspired a holistic bike event for the broader community. Over 50 residents of REACH’s SE Portland communities and surrounding neighbors came out to 72Foster to enjoy good food, bike safety education, and bike repairs.

A big thanks to TerraCycle and Legacy’s Trauma Nurses Talk Tough program for providing free helmets for youth, Holst Architecture for food and refreshments, and PBOT Safe Routes to School and Bikes for Humanity for providing bike education for safer rides for adults and kids in our communities. It was a great event focusing on community-building, food security, safety, and healthy living!
