We need more than a home to build a stable life.

Things like food, housing, economic and social relationships, transportation, education, and health care effectively determine length and quality of life.

This is why we provide services that enhance physical and emotional health, known collectively as Social Determinants of Health. These factors are conditions of how we live, work, learn and play.

Affordable Housing

What is it and do I qualify?

More than 80,000 apartment communities across the country are assisted with one form or another of government assistance. These apartment communities make renting affordable for millions of people.

You may qualify for a subsidy to make your rent more affordable. In general, households that make less than 60% of the Area Median Income (AMI) may be eligible for assistance.
